From carnatic to hindustani, arabian to qawwali and the list goes on and on. Also, he is the master in mastering instruments. And, this song from the Hindi film "Delhi-6", is one example for that. Rahman gives us the soothing rhythm that takes birth - not from a wind instrument ) - from The Haken Continuum.
